Yishu will publish a special supplement:
2007 Chinese Art Gallery Guide to accompany the June issue of Yishu (featuring 52nd Venice Biennale) and to celebrate the opening of three major international events of contemporary art: 52nd Venice Biennale (June 10, 2007), 38th Art Basel (June 13, 2007) and Documenta 12 (June 16, 2007).

Yishu is a leading journal in the coverage of contemporary Chinese art and culture. Since its inauguration in 2002, Yishu has raised its profile internationally to become one of the most respected journals in the field. Yishu is distributed worldwide and is read by scholars, artists, collectors, and those wanting to know more about Chinese culture, especially in light of its growing world influence in the 21st century.

Yishu has been invited to contribute to the Documenta 12 magazines project. Yishu is also the only journal of Chinese art that’s offered a special booth at Art Basel and its Miami Beach edition. Last year we put together a special insert of Chinese art gallery guide and distributed at Art Basel/Miami Beach. We have received an overwhelmingly positive response from both the readers and dealers.

To keep the momentum going, we are going to publish another Yishu supplement - 2007 Chinese Art Gallery Guide to distribute at Art Basel 38 as well as in other two upcoming international events: Venice Biennale and Documenta. Most important collectors, art professionals and media representatives from around world are expected to come to Europe for the special occasion this summer.

2007 Chinese Art Gallery Guide will provide up-to-date information of the galleries representing Chinese art in China and world wide. 4,000 copies will be available in Yishu booth at 38th Art Basel for all visitors. It will also be mailed to 400 important collectors, art professionals, museums and libraries around the world, as well as to subscribers of our magazines: Yishu and ARTCO.
